Owned by a couple with three older children, the family only used a small section on the 500m sq garden. The south facing garden consisted solely of a grass lawn. The family required an interesting, warm garden with all year round interest.

The major feature in the garden was the two square lawns set at a 45 degree angle. These created dynamic movement and were linked by a formal pool stocked with fish and aquatic specimens.

Lush tropical planting including 'Musa basjoo' and 'Algave americana ' enclosed the green oasis.
